Job Summary
This position requires day to day execution of all POs related to plastics and other hardline products. The assistant manager will assist the department manager in hitting all on-time ship dates, QC requirements and new product development targets. This position requires constant and timely communication with department manager, CFO, the client, suppliers, freight forwarders, inspection agents and the company QC staff.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Number one priority is insuring the client is receiving high quality product on time
2. Maintain consistent, timely and clear communication with the client, Department Manager, Suppliers, CFO/Business Development officer, QC staff, freight forwarders, inspectors and QC staff
3. Receive POs from the client, confirm pricing with CFO, confirm product lead times with supplier, convert MS PO to New Sourcing PO and send to supplier
4. Create production schedule for each new PO
5. Organize all product BOMs in a central file. Follow up with factory to make sure these materials are properly ordered for all POs
6. Communicate with Department Manager and MS on all labels, packaging and shipping marks to ensure accuracy.
7. Execute all shipping documents related to POs
8. Receive sample requests from the client, follow up with factory to make sure completed according to quality specifications and schedule
9. Track financial budgets for all products, including travel expenses, courier costs, cell phone expenses, etc.
10. To perform any other duties as directed and assigned by the Company at any time and from time to time
Qualifications
1. Over 2 years experience in international import/export.
2. Undergraduate degree in engineering, graduate level degree is preferred.
3. Written and spoken fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
