Lead an Application Management Support Team for the Plant Floor Systems Portfolio

Job Description & Qualifications

Lead an Application Management Support Team for the Plant Floor Systems Portfolio. The portfolio consists of multiple complex applications implemented globally in Assembly, Powertrain and Stamping Facilities. The position provides Application Support for our global plants in North America, Europe and APA. This position will provide Follow-the-Sun support with peers in NA, AP and EU. This position will have interaction with global Plant Floor Systems Peers, Plant IT teams, Business IT, Application Development, and other IT Operation teams.

Position responsibilities

Run and protect our business
?Operate to agreed IT Service Levels (Critical Success Factors / Business Facing Metrics)
?Improve Incident & Request Target Resolution Times
?Lead / participate / achieve published targets in Security & Controls requirements, e.g. audits, Operation Identified Concerns
?Ensure alignment between Global Technology Application Management services & Site Management to support business needs
Improve our business
?Ensure timely Global Technology Application Management support to meet program and project commitments; leverage program/project issue and risk management practices
?Drive Problem Management through best practices & metrics and increase focus on pro-active problem management
?Reduce incident counts for Level 2 by 50% (stretched target) through Shift Left and/or preventive measures, e.g. HMON & SMON
?Optimize Follow-the-Sun support, leverage ODC and other suppliers for Level 2 support, as applicable
?Lead / participate in FMEA studies for troubled Vehicle Operation & Powertrain plants
?Support business innovation initiatives

Improve IT capacity, agility, efficiency
?Contribute to #PowerUp the One IT Strategy
?Ensure understanding of IT Operating Model 2.0 and leverage model to support business demand
?Improve processes with Application Development , Ops Control, Site Management especially concerning Change Management

Attract, develop and retain talent
?Role model One Ford behaviors to deliver shared objectives
?Strengthen relationships and working together across IT
?Execute plans to improve Pulse/ESI and reduce workplace obstacles for team
?Continue to foster a culture of innovation and learning and leverage Career Development Framework
?Driver further adoption of Go Digital Go Further program for team
