· Follows and ensures appropriate use of Ford Motor Company IT project management tools, processes, and methodologies

· Ensures effective integration management throughout the life cycle of the project

· Develops and maintains detailed project plans with minimal supervision

· Reviews project plans and provides timely feedback and direction

· Ensures project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality, cost, timing, and business objectives

· Leads discussions that impact or change project scope with minimal supervision

· Identifies risk and executes mitigation plans

· Identifies issues and executes resolution

· Develops periodic reports on a variety of subjects including status, risks and mitigation plans, issues and resolution, and change requests

· Motivates, manages and provides leadership for team members

· Participates in and leads resource acquisition process

· Provides input and makes decisions regarding training requirements

· Provides technical mentoring to Associate Project Managers


Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferable

No. of Years of Experience

· More than four years of progressive responsibilities in IT and at least one year in project management

Professional Exposure

· Interfaces primarily with first level management, business customers, and the project team

· Interfaces with external business consultants and IT suppliers

Preferred previous experiences

· Experience on multiple projects and familiarity with IT solution delivery

· Demonstrated ability to deliver on project commitments through leadership, teamwork, problem analysis/resolution and productivity improvements

· Automotive Dealership/Sales support applications

· Automotive B2C

· Automotive/Manufacturing IT

· PMI qualified

· Demonstrate and build functional and technical excellence
