Job Description
· Responsible for the tracking of quarterly Variable Marketing Budgets/Programs for 12 markets.
Ability to analyze variance vs. budget/forecast and align spending with retail marketing objectives
· Support the development of more sophisticated VM Budgets by Vehicle Line by Qtr by Market
Will own the VM database and develop various reports to highlight budgets, variance vs. budgets, and future budgets.
Requires coordination with the markets to understand present VM budgets, alignment with forward model PD programs and marketing managers on commitments, and understanding of future year volume commitments.
· Coordinate & support key vehicle launches by market
Own the calendar for vehicle launch milestones
Liaison between Marketing & Markets to align vehicle launch plans
Develop & Track launch metrics for key vehicle lines by market
· Support the drive for consistency across markets for adherence to APA Retail Marketing templates & processes.
· Support Retail Marketing initiatives & projects on ad hoc basis.
Preferred previous experiences
·A Marketing or Business Degree
·Minimum 5 years working experience
·Familiarity with working for large corporation with diverse workforce
·Automotive experience is a preferred but not required
·Analytical position with some exposure to Marketing
·Self Motivated Individual
·Strong analytical & Microsoft Excel Skills are a must.
·Ability to turn a concept into tangible reports
·Special Knowledge Required
