An IT career in the Global Automotive Industry

We are building an IT team based in Shanghai that will lead and manage our IT Services throughout the Asia Pacific Region as an integral part of our Global IT Organization.


We are looking to recruit individuals who seek a long term career in the management of IT services of a Global Organization.


Currently our team is significantly staffed with International employees bringing their expertise and experience to help our growth in China. Over time we are looking to significantly decrease this dependency by promoting internally developed local employees.


We are looking for IT professionals who are looking for career development in leadership and management within a Global Corporate IT organization.

The successful applicant will be employed in a generalist, non-technical IT professional role and enrolled into an internal IT Leadership Program (ITLP).

What is ITLP?


· ITLP is a development program for high potential employees to enhance the candidate pipeline for IT leadership positions.


· The ITLP is comprised of experienced IT talent with demonstrated outstanding performance, established IT industry experience, competencies and leadership behaviors as well as an expressed interest in an IT leadership career.


· The program acquires participants annually and proactively manages their development through mentoring, challenging assignments, and targeted learning. A typical participant will remain on the program for 3 years with a new job assignment every twelve months.


What do ITLP participants get out of it?


· Be part of an accelerated leadership development program offered only to high potential and high performing employees


· Access to and support from executive sponsors and mentors from IT and business senior leadership teams


· Global networking with ITLP participants from North America, Europe, India and Asia Pacific

Criteria


· Master’s degree (preferably MBA) or better


· Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT industry


· Interested in generalist, non-technical IT career path


· Interested and self-motivated for an IT global leadership career in Ford


· Interested and able to travel and work overseas
