Key Roles and Responsibilities

1 Provides inputs to project scope and time plan

2 Ensure participation of Functional and Business SMEs as and when required per the Project plan – Manage Business teams for Projects

3 Project Scope control - Review new requirements/change requests and works with IT Project managers and Functional SMEs to ensure successful launch. Escalate as appropriate

4 Responsible for ensuring cross-functional issues are addressed in a timely manner

5 Participate in status reviews of projects with individual Project teams

6 Conduct project reviews with scorecards

7 Works with IT Project Manager as the SPOC to identify and execute Business deliverables

8 Takes responsibility for quality of business deliverables

Preferred previous experiences/ competencies to prepare for the position

Leadership

1 Excellent written/verbal communication and change management skills

2 Ability to influence others/indirect reports

3 Strong drive for results, quality approach

4 Demonstrated consulting skills required to lead discussions with customers – market and regional

5 Experience in developing global relationships

Functional / Technical

1 Project Management and budgeting skills

2 Finance domain knowledge, with at least 5 years of finance/full-cycle accounting experience. Finance consulting experience is preferred

3 Knowledge in Project Management tools

4 Experience working with different work groups

5 Experience managing external suppliers

Experiences/ competencies expected to be developed while in position

Leadership

1 Exposure to regional and global teams and processes, including Finance 'business acumen'

2 Change management skills

3 Ability to manage complex system projects/programs

Functional / Technical

1 Manage process projects, Develop skills related to business process re-engineering

2 Enhanced project management skills

3 Enhanced knowledge of PM tools/process
