Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and/or participate in global and regional IT infrastructure audits. This includes the need to ‘team lead’ auditors who may be working remotely and are of different grades, run audit status meetings which include all levels of IT operational management, and to report out to audit management team. Work may also be reviewed by the external auditors. Awareness of a broad range of IT technologies and processes is required.
• Participate in global and regional business auditors as the IT audit specialist. Depending on the audit, this role may be working remotely from the team, and will need to take the lead in managing potentially contentious issues with operational management
• Review both Auditing and Operational Identified Comment (OIC) corrective action follow-up evidence, ensuring that work products delivered by the operations are timely and meet sufficient standard
• Contribute to process improvement activities within the auditing team, including researching new and emerging technologies to understand potential control risks, and emerging approaches to internal auditing.
• Approximately 30 to 35 weeks travelling (including around 15 travelling weeks overseas) is required with assignments throughout the AP Region, including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as the possibility of travel to Europe and North America.

Main Requirements:

• Knowledge on IT Security and Controls, IT Governance, Risk management
• Technical knowledge on Application, Networks, Databases, Operating Systems and other infrastructure
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Management Information System and other relevant major;
• At least 4 years IT experience with a minimum of 2 years IT auditing or security and controls related roles;
• Working experience in both large multinationals and professional accounting firms is a plus but not mandatory requirement;
• Strong communication skills (fluent English) – both written and verbal. The role is responsible for writing communications and reports that need to be concise and factually accurate, which will be read to all levels of senior management, potentially including the CEO;
• Highly motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks;
• Familiar with standard business software applications including Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint;
• Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.
