1. Develop international import processes to control vehicle shipping to meet BU order requirements
2. Assure CAF crossfunctional teams to develop inbound logistics strategy, bidding and implementing inbound ex-works delivery project.
3. Provide leadership to deliver all MP&L GPDS program deliverables and milestones through Job 1 + 90 days in plants.
4. Ensure Optimum Logistics & Supply Chain strategies are developed adopting MP&L best practices.
5. Ensure MP&L Strategies deliver the Safety, Quality and Cost targets in the production of the vehicles
6. Establish an effective working relationship with JV vehicle launch teams, manufacturing, purchase, finance teams to ensure effective ex-works launch based on One Ford principles
7. Conducts logistics network and supply chain operational analysis from supplier to manufacture plants to improve cost (transportation, storage, customs clearance,..), and inventory management
8. Support plants team to control logistics suppliers performance
   · Ensure zero major production disruptions
   · Meet the supply chain cost metrics
   · Meet the delivery service metrics
9. Identify opportunities, propose correctives actions and lead continuous improvement with both external partners (mainly carrier and 3PL) and internal resource (sourcing, production and distribution)
10. Provide capacity planning analysis for distribution, transportation and sourcing functions
11. Review and recommend system/software enhancements and participate in the ERP implementation for the SC processes
