MC Insurance Manager
Job Description
You will take on growing responsibilities in Projects that help our Insurance clients to redesign their Finance function through the Insurance and Financial Processes reengineering.
In particular you will have focus on:
Business Development: Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients & internal Accenture consulting teams in various geographies (focus on Greater China); organizing and leading pursuit of management consulting opportunities; participating & leading aspects of the proposal development for client opportunities
Project Delivery: Ensuring high quality and in time project delivery, ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
People Development: Performing the role of career counselor, coach and capability development lead for a team of managers, consultants & analysts., Providing input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Domain Development: Development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
Qualifications
- Experience of at least 6/8 years at a management consulting firm or strategic or insurance companies, international financial services group active in the insurance field, preferably in the organization / strategy.
- Experience of the major insurance processes including distribution experience, claims experience, insurance operations experience, product experience etc.
- Product skills (with main reference to Life Area and P&C Area)
- Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin
- Preference for candidates with strong business strategy, marketing, store operations, merchandising/planning experiences, or retail finance experiences
- Consulting Sales experience; ability to drive and sell new pursuits and comfort carrying a sales quota/target
- Ability to develop critical client relationships
- Project management experience and proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Preference for candidates with managerial and above experience in a management consultancy companies.
