Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
- Build and execute AP IT Communication Plan including identification of key topics, organization, material preparation and logistics of Regional LL5, LL6 and all employee meetings.
- Coordinate Regional AP IT Communicator’s team to plan, write, edit and publish “OneIT in AP” articles for @FordIT.
- Mentor Communicators in Communication best practices and journalistic techniques.
- Assist in the question preparation, distribution, analysis of results and summary reports for the annual “OneIT in AP” survey; identify and implement actions based on survey feedback.
- Interview Senior leadership teams and prepare articles/videos for senior leadership.
- Document and share AP IT Communications process and best practices with the Global Communications Team; Represent AP IT in the Global Communication Network and @FordIT editorial group.
- Provide communication support including review and input into communications/training material, planning of AP cascades.
- Strategy aggregation and promotion.
- Prepare Global IT BPR/AP BPR/AP IT BPR document and review with all functional leaders.
- Prepare BEO information (Business Environment Opportunities).
- Support Weekly SAR meeting.
Key Deliverables in position i.e. in the next 2 years what is required to be delivered in the position?
- Ensure AP strategies are communicated within IT in AP through the development and implementation of a detailed AP Communication Plan
- Work closely with managers to develop long term communication strategy
- Complete ownership of SharePoint (Design, redesign, publishing, security management) – Establish best practices for SharePoint management
- Support the delivery of Regional LL5, LL6 (Leadership meetings) and All Employee meetings
- Maintain a sustainable publishing process for @FordIT and implement improvements based on survey, customer and leadership feedback
- Mature and document AP IT Communications Process and Best Practices
- Arranged SAR Meeting
- AP IT BPR Documents managed.
- Communication Meeting arrangement ( LL5+,LL6+, All hands Meeting, etc.)
- Leadership Offsite Meeting Planning and Support
Key Selection Criteria
- Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or above (Engineering Degree Preferred); 5 - 7 years of experience in IT / Technology / Automotive industries with passion for communications preferred.
Criteria (Must have)
- Strong Communications skills
- Capability to build strong/effective relationships with ability to influence others in a corporate environment
- Excellent English skills, written & spoken, minimum of CET 6 capability (or equivalent)
- Experience in digital publishing & communication
- Strategy Thinking
Criteria (Good To Have)
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for collaboration tools including WebEx, and video conferencing
- Knowledge of SharePoint design and SharePoint management
- Knowledge of Web Analytics tools
- Experience in analyzing surveys using statistical tools
- Good knowledge of IT practices and capability to work with IT skill teams
