Job Purpose:
Direct and control the QC activities to achieve targeted outputs in line with master production schedule, whilst operating is within defined cost budgets. In addition, ensure the delivered product quality well controlled.

Responsibilties:
1.Responsible for ensuring quality control procedures on liquid crystal mixtures with incoming QC for components, in-process QC for process monitoring and outgoing QC .
2.Facilitate and implement continuous improvement activities of Merck in the area of responsibility - OE, L&SS method, EHS. In addition, continuously improvements especially for the sampling, inspections and testing methods in order to increase the level of product quality and efficiency
3.Implement Quality Management and Assurance principles to maximize the operational efficiency of QC department.
4.Manage the QC department including daily planning, budgeting, organization, training and development of subordinates. Co-ordinates with Production, RD and QA and confers with customers to evaluate the quality issues.
5.Provide the analytical know-how to investigate customer complaints and to qualify suppliers.

Requirement:
1.Bachelor and above degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy Chemical Engineering,
Physics, Materials Engineering or related science fields.
2.Experience in analytical chemistry, pharmacy with managerial position is essential. Multinational
company experienced is preferred experience in either chromatographic (GC, HPLC) or electro-optical measurement methods. Basic knowledge of IT tools and statistical evaluation of QC data are required.
3.Good team spirit and strong leadership, ability to motivate employees. Ability to work independently
on given objectives / projects and report results.
4.Good command in English and excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills. Personality: reliable,
accurate, loyal & discrete, customer oriented, cooperative.
