职位描述：
As a member of R&D Team, his/her strong technical expertise in automation process engineering will allow him/her to take actively part in new product/process developments, technical support and improvement on existing operational equipment.
This position reports to R&D Manager

Tasks

? Work with R&D project team to develop and improve process. If able, could contribute to adding new improvements when needed.
? Follow the equipment realization in quality, lead time and cost,
? He/she is responsible for the process validation and global process improvement during ramp up phase.
? Creates technical documentation that can be easily understood by peers
? Work in close collaboration with all LEM departments involved in product/process development
? Executes test of new features before implementation to minimize bugs and downtime
? Participate actively in PFMEA and project reviews
? Support Operations team in his field of expertise(Process/Automation)
? Interface and coordinate with other R&D site and Operations.
? Proactive to define and enforce standards and best practices.


Key personal skills

? Solid background in mechanical design, structure analysis and manufacturing process.
? Rich experience on design for robot auto assembly or other machine auto-assembly product, including auto-assembly process
? Good at configuring and designing HMI
? Good at programming Logic Controllers (PLC)
? CAD experience is an asset, (PTC Creo)
? Willingness to work with multicultural teams (EU, US, Japan)
? Problem solving, pragmatic and autonomous
? Able to work in a team and follow on time project milestones
? 6 sigma, Operating Excellence, Design of experimentation is a plus
? Familiar with standards used in automotive industry

Education and Experience
 
? Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in mechatronics/automation
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering development
? Good knowledge of mass production industry
? A first experience in the automotive industry is a plus
? Excellent English is mandatory. (written and spoken), daily communication in English
