Apple's Client and Collaboration Services (CCS) group, within the IS&T organization, is seeking a CCS Specialist based in Shanghai to provide the client and collaboration services implementation,
training and operational support for the Apple China organization.
Descriptions
Support the New Employee Training and productivity workshops for the Greater China users
Implement the training plan for internal adoption of CCS services and major OS
Support the rollout of macOS and iOS upgrades which are critical to business success
Support the software download, backup, secure print, room checkin and collaboration services
Support the deployment of CCS services in the Greater China offices per business needs
Support the end-user troubleshooting for macOS and iOS platforms
Support the intranet running on Apache, PHP, MySQL per corporate guidelines
Evaluate new client, collaboration services and IS&T tools
Familiar with LDAP, SSH/SSL, TCP/IP communications, Unix security, shell scripting, DNS, SMTP,
web and server technologies
Development experience in Swift or Objective-C is an advantage.
Job Summary
The CCS team is hiring for a front line role, interfacing with our internal business partners and
providing technology advocacy on how best to use and implement corporate systems and
technologies.
You’ll be joining a team of world class engineers and interacting on a daily basis with teams that
span across Apple’s business groups including operations, sales and engineering organizations.
You will be supporting training on Mac systems and security for new employees, as well as
interfacing with key business stakeholders on deployment and maintenance of CCS systems and
services.
This is a 7 x 24 on-call position which requires you to respond to service outages per the IS&T
Support Priority. You must be willing to travel domestically or internationally for project
deployment and support business priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology or Software Engineering
Minimum of five years experience in an IT support, engineering or software development role
Possesses strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Ability to make quality decisions and maintain composure under pressure
Proficient in business level Mandarin and English languages.
