Key Responsibilities:
? Establish new master data elements in the local ledgers
? Update and maintain the corporation’s financial master records database, ensuring all parameters are accurate and maintained timely including foreign currency tables
? Support all the releases, enhancements and system modifications
? Coordinate with IT and Global Process owners to improve and enhance ERP functionality
? Contribute as needed across the enterprise during resolution of operational issues and global process improvements
? Participate in the development, updating and maintenance of departmental procedures, tools, and metrics for the master data team
? Monitor and ensure that the Company’s master data business rules, policies and procedures are adhered to by the Segments across all ledgers and the consolidation system
? Innovation and creativity are required in this role
? Regular communication across boundaries to increase the effectiveness of the business is an important aspect of this position
Key Requirements:
? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems or other business related field
? 4-6 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance as an accountant or master data management in SAP, JDE, Oracle or other top-tier general ledger required
? Prior experience with cross-functional communication and cooperation, prefer global experience
? Intermediate or better Excel and Access skills (pivots, macros, etc.)
? Experience in a BI (business intelligence) reporting environment preferred
Knowledge and Skills Inventory:
? Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
? Experience with business process improvement (e.g., Green Belt) or process mapping
? Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
? Ability to professionally represent company policies and procedures, both written and oral
? Ability to problem-solve using available resources, and proactively escalate when additional resources may be required
? Ability to travel on both domestic and extended-stay, international trips
? Ability to occasionally work more than 40 hours per week and to work outside the normal 8-5 work schedule
