TASK:

l Production targets and control
· Collaborate superior to prepare the annual plan and set target ofproduction and recovery, productivity,product rate and quantity of production.
· Pursues the fulfillment of these goals with the help of statisticson a daily, weekly and monthly basis and reports variance to superior.
· Takes short and medium term measures to positively influence keyfigures, such as overtime, personnel changes or adjustment and correction ofquality standards, processes and their control of assets.
l Technological improvements and process development
· Take actions on technical and organizational improvements and changes In case of difficulties inproduction or at the request of customer.
· Collaborates with the Department of Technical Services to applyfor investment and make improvements to the systems.
l Detailed planning and control of the production process
· Works with the relevant planning of rolling schedules anddetermines the operating mode of production according to the monthly productiontargets.
· Attends daily meetings with the planning and maintenance as wellas the twice weekly meetings held with the metallurgy.
· Manages relevant maintenance activities by making necessaryrepairs in the specified time and scope, and provides supportive functions.
· Reports all important incidents to superiors and makescorresponding coordination.
l Monitoring the quality
· Monitor various special products such as solder-plated band,wide automotive UNCT aviation sheetsand sheets for the aviation and aerospace industries, container and transportthe special works of Koblenz.
· Pay particular attention to the quality assurance requirements tobe submitted to the customer.
· Oversees the critical manufacturing processes.
· Works closely with the Quality Department and Metallurgy foraddressing all questions regarding quality.
l Personnel Management
· Make decisions in consultation with the master craftsman andworkforce.
· Coordinates with major divisions and informs his staff about allthe questions they need to care about whiling performing their jobs. Provides informationand advice by sharing his expertise and experience, and delivers the necessarytraining to expand the knowledge and know-how of employees.
· Holds staff meetings and carries out hiring and firing along withthe personnel department.
· Collaborates with the masters to develop employee annualcommercial performance appraisal.
· Coordinates with the supervisor and the Personnel Departmentto carry out performance appraisal,recruitment and address salary issues of employees.
· Ensures the implementation of the VV, CIP and Six Sigmaprocess, and also supports the companysuggestion system.
