Finance (FIN)

Global Finance aims to provide HSBC with a professional, effective and responsive finance service that operates at optimal cost and employs a common and transparent global model.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

Maintain robust control and safeguard the Bank from Transfer Pricing risks.

Acts independently for various activities allocated to the individual, and with overview or directional guidance from the Senior Tax Manager in the team

Manage the bank's Transfer Pricing matters in line with the regulatory requirement, including Related Party Transaction Form preparation, Group Transfer Pricing Master File translation, local Transfer Pricing file preparation etc.

With future potential to cover other tax area.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Mimimum 5-year experience specialized in Tax.

Financial industry experience or familiar with banking products is preferred.

Transfer pricing experience is preferred.

Ability to work independently on various tax numbers with internal stakeholders and external regulators (not limited to tax authorities) for various tax related topics. Ability to use own judgement to influence internal stakeholders and guide business to achieve better tax results.

Ability to handle tax inspection on transfer pricing.

Ability to make recommendations to the senior managers for tax impact arising from tax practice changes or intra-group transaction arrangement changes.

Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing environment. With growing mindset and adaptable to culture changes.

Future flexibility to expand tax coverage to other tax matters.

Effective communication skills both English and Mandarin. Writing skills in both English and Mainland Chinese.
