TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

？ Develop quotations and schedules for manufacturing transferred programs with little or no assistance.
？ Work concurrently with Jabil Lifestyle Design Services in other sites, Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Test, Purchasing, and Quality departments through the design and NPI phase of a program.
？ Collaborating with Design team to provide a design that not only meets the customer’s criteria, but is also of high quality, cost effective, and manufacturability.
？ Help Business Unit Management / Business Development in the decision of the feasibility and technological merit of new opportunities.
？ Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
？ Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; taking customer issues as high priority.
？ Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.
？ Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
？ Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
？ Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
？ Build and debug designs, and provide feedback to Project Manager or Lead Project Engineer to assist in product development.
？ Coordinate related departments (design team, supply chain, QA, etc.) for component selection and 2nd source component evaluation.
？ Record all ideas, sketches, and pertinent conversations during daily work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

？ Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or related domains required.
？ Four years experience on embedded electronics system design engineering, with one-year experience in senior engineer role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
？ One-year experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
？ Three years direct working experience on mobile or portable consumer electronics preferred.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

？ Fundamental knowledge of electrical and electronics
？ Knowledge of embedded system hardware architecture, with RF circuit knowledge (Bluetooth, PA, etc.) as plus
？ Analog and digital circuit design/debug expertise
？ Basic knowledge of popular peripherals/interfaces on mobile/consumer devices – memory card, USB, LCD display, keypad, etc.
？ Basic electrical testing and measurement capabilities, with equipment including multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supply, spectrum analyzer, etc.
？ Capability of generating electronics design verification plan and report
？ Capability of analyzing electronics and measurement problems, finding root cause, and providing corresponding solutions at product line in manufacturing environment
？ Coaching and training manufactory test development and failure analysis engineers

COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE SKILLS

？ Ability to clearly express the thinking among peoples either within team or external. Easy going.
？ Ability to speak both English and Mandarin fluently.
？ Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers or members of the business community.
