Essential Responsibilities

Development of power electronics converters for Power Quality and UPS applications on large and small 3 phase UPS systems. * Full responsibility of leading design efforts on new products, material improvements and quality initiatives * Support expanding product manufacturing globally as the design point of contact * Provide general support for continuous improvement of products related to power electronics. * Application of New Product introduction (NPI) process: support appropriate NPI tollgate activity and S1/S2 process, apply 6 Sigma methods, and maintain the appropriate documentation relating to each NPI Program.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering* Minimum of 6 years experience in Power Electronics or equivalent related experience* Proficient with simulation software, e.g. Matlab-Simulink, Simplorer, Saber* Proficient with standard PC office software (eg, EXCEL, WORD, POWER POINT)* Demonstrated abilities: manage multiple tasks, self-starter, independent* Solid Project management experiences* High proficiency in English and Chinese * Business travel is required

* Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma, Design for Reliability and New Product Introduction processes* Ability to prioritize work and to multi-task with a sense of customer focus and urgency. * Proven ability to manage projects in a multitasking environment* Excellent communication skills
