Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of Deputy GM will be to work with the Cansolv and Shell organization to deliver Cansolv’s new business targets (licensing,equipment and solvent) within the strategic market sectors in China (Oil & Gas,Power and Industrial). This will be achieved both with direct sales,through leveraging Shell Commercial Groups as well as through the strategic development of Channel Partners.

- Direct responsibility for the delivery of a yearly USD 10-15 mln revenue target with a gross margin of >25% and significant revenue growth expectation over the next 2-4 years.

- To lead a group of technical sales professionals (2-4 staff) and deliver revenue/margin targets that add value to the primary stakeholder (Shell) through licensing of SO2 & CO2 scrubbing systems and sales of proprietary equipment and amines within China

- To drive the development of new Customer Value Propositions (CVP) for application of the Cansolv process in the strategic markets.

- To effectively influence and leverage the Shell sales force (within the Commercial - Projects and Technology organisation) as a mechanism to reach sales target and add value to Shell.

- To develop and maintain multiple senior level relationships in several customer organizations

- To lead the development of licensing and sales contracts and associated legal requirements.

- To support the GM in running other aspects of Cansolv’s China (Engineering,Finance,HR). Act as delegate to the GM as required.

- To be part of Cansolv China Leadership team


Requirements:

- MBA - Engineer preferred and Chemical Engineer a real asset coupled with genuine and continuous interest and curiosity for technology and innovation

- 10+ years relevant experience with minimum 5 year in technical sales role and 5 years in a leadership role - must be self-motivated, self-directed

- B2B experience with prior exposure in Business Development or in an Account Executive role preferably in the Oil & Gas or Power sector

- Strong negotiating skills - carry out negotiations with customers, preparing quotations and proposals and agree on all customer interaction (price, contract, payment terms and services) - familiar with complex contracting requirements – support the GM

- Proven capacity for commercial strategy development

- Excellent communication & presentation skills

- Mandarin and English fluent
