The Company
. Euroports is an international and leading group offering transport and logistics solutions.
. The group’s core service package includes terminals, transport services, freight forwarding and contract logistics in a number of industries.
. Euroports also manages a portfolio of European concession port companies."
Position Description
. The GM holds direct P&L responsibility for Zhuhai EP
. This person is responsible for Operations and QHSE management through SLA, customer service /after sales activities, as well as all business development projects that fall under the Zhuhai Terminal development.
. The GM coordinates with the MD of Euroports China in general and
. Euroports Asia Terminals for sales activities.
. The GM coordinates with Zhuhai International Container
. Terminals (Gaolan) Limited (partner/shareholder) and Euroports
. China for operational and terminal activities
. This person leads a team of managers (operations, distribution services, customer service). (subcontracted business model)
. He/she ensures that solutions are developed for customers and ensures that the Terminal delivers the agreed service at the lowest possible cost. This person drives continuous improvement initiatives and provides a safe and secure working environment for its employees and visitors."
Requirements
. 5 to 10 years of experience in port management including 2 to 3 years in terminal management as GM with full P&L responsibilities
. MNC and JV experience
. Fluent in both English and Mandarin
. University degree in logistics and/or nautical science"
