Job Description
At Amazon safety is our number one concern for both our employees and customers. We are looking for a dynamic candidate to support the growth of the dangerous goods business.

We are seeking candidates to fill the following position:
CN Dangerous Goods Risk Management Specialist (Level 5)
Position located in Shanghai, China.

The position will be supporting the CN Dangerous Goods Compliance Manager in the safe management in our global sales of consumer goods classed as dangerous goods and substances as per both China and global regulations in terms of handling, storage and transportation.

The primary area of responsibility will be working with the CN Dangerous Goods Compliance team to support Amazon Global Store project teams, operation teams, warehouses as well as collaborating with legal teams and technical teams to ensure all Amazon product transportations meet applicable local and global regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
-Support to dive deep on understanding and participant in the designing of the detailed process of global sales modes.
-Act as key point of contact for the team, liaising with various business and operations stakeholders, in support of new initiatives, and working to arrive at the optimal compliance solution for all parties involved.
-Identify potential regulatory gaps and develop process improvement initiatives relating to dangerous goods domestic & cross-border transport.
-Develop internal policies and procedures for storage and transportation of dangerous goods in global base, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
-Create metrics to track and analyze the business needs and effects & benefits of compliance initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
-Qualified candidates should have a bachelor or above degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or equivalent. Scientific educational background is preferred.
-At least 5-year working experience and a 2-year experience in compliance is a wanted asset, preferably a working knowledge of at least one of the following: ICAO-TI, IATA-DGR, IMDG Code, GHS.
-Previous work experience in a fast-paced, changing and growing organization.
-Key Competencies: strong compliance senses; whole process ownership; deals well with ambiguity; function well in loosely structured situations; able to multi-task.
-Good problem solving skills: acts decisively, promptly and confidently; proactively offering solutions to balance business demanding and compliance.
-Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
-Good in MS Office software and project management related tools.
Preferred Qualifications
-With compliance working experience in dangerous goods field
-With official certificates or qualifications issued by IATA Training & Development Institute
-With educational or working experiences on laws & regulations interpretations
