The Group:
Morningstar’s Research group provides independent analysis on individual securities, funds, markets, and portfolios. The Research group also provides data on hundreds of thousands of investment offerings, including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles, along with real-time global market data on millions of equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and Treasury markets. Morningstar is one of the largest independent sources of fund, equity, and credit data and research in the world, and our advocacy for investors’ interests is the foundation of our company.
Morningstar Shenzhen Equity Operation Team is seeking for an Associate Team Leader / Team Leader to work in the Non-fundamental Team. The team is committed to the expansion and enhancement of global non-fundamental database, responsible for the non-fundamental data of North American and Asian markets. Main data points covered by the team include Total outstanding share, Float data, SayonPay data and Segmentation data. This position will lead a Shenzhen-based team of 10 data analysts, reporting directly to an equity data operations manager.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Team Leader / Team Leader, she/he is expected to:
1. Maintain the daily operation of the team. Be able to prioritize and balance the resource allocation between filing processing and projects.
2. Support the work related to potential business demands on markets.
3. Initiate and prioritize projects in the team to streamline data process, and improve data quality and filing processing efficiency.
4. Coach team members to be professional and skilled. Allocate the member to proper role in daily work or projects by considering individual capabilities and advantages.
5. Commit to establish organized, motivated and team-playing environments to make the team a great place to work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above, good knowledge in finance and accounting. Experience in CFA/CPA/ACCA program is a plus.
2. Highly interested in equity data and motivated to develop skills along leadership path, details-oriented with strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
3. 2+ year work experience in financial industry, 1+ management experience. Past experience in data collection is a plus.
4. Good communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and articulating his/her thoughts and operational initiatives.
5. Good problem solving, planning and organizing skills.
6. Good English skills and fluent spoken English are preferred. 举报 分享
