MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Follow up the orders placed in China from oversea plants
2. Quality control of products before dispatch shipment, including packaging quality to ensure plant received shipment without definite parts.
3. Set and Witness all the necessary quality control points during the manufacturing processes
4. Issue inspection reports and cascade it as necessary
5. Communicate with plants concerned about quality issues, non-conformance found and suggest possible solutions.
6. Communicate with supplier with quality requirements of products ensure that suppliers can follow the requirements.
7. In charge of supplier evaluation and quality audit and reports
8. In charge of supplier approval process to ensure supplier and its products can be tested and approved on time according to the schedule.
9. In charge of supplier quality improvement activates to improve supplier quality level to reach international standards; To initiate improvement plan with suppliers, lead, monitor and follow up the improvement actions at supplier’s premise.
10. Cooperation with commodity manager to ensure the manufactured can be produced with good quality and delivered on time.
11. Cooperation with global engineering team, implement global quality activities in China.
12. Work with Sourcing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and timely corrective actions are implemented as necessary.
13. Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule.
14. Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.
15. Monthly summary report for supplier quality to Global Sourcing.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASSUREMENTS:
1. Supplier OTD and KPI measurement quarterly.
2. Goods received performance feedback from plants.
3. Material defective or return rate
QUALIFICATION:
1. University graduated, major in Mechanical Engineering preferred
2. At least 5 years working experience with experience on quality or production or engineering areas, experience on supplier quality control is preferred
3. Able to understand engineering drawings and specifications, familiar with engineering standard
4. Familiar with ISO 9000 standards family and basic quality tools, knowledge on other quality tools (SPC, 5S, 6 Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, APQP etc) is preferred
5. Knowledge of welding, casting, forging, machining, fabrication processes is required, working experience in the industry fan field preferred.
6. Knowledge on NDT is preferred, Certificates on welding inspection and NDT inspection is a plus.
7. Be able to work independently, self-motivated and self-disciplined
8. Good communication skills and team work spirit; experience of leadership of matrix teams to support global sourcing.
9. Foreign Company working experienced is preferred.
10. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
11. Willingness to travel frequently both in China and abroad
12. Fluent in English and Mandarin
13. Familiar with MS Office software and Email software
