? Read & understand customer information (e.g., Gerber files, drawings), identify most relevant feature sets to interpret into databases of product features and processes
? Use tools and design techniques to estimate specifications and costs of producing PCB based on different plant capabilities & customer requirements
? Ability to come up with clever proposals that optimize cost including panel design, stack ups, and feature sets
? Use guidelines & industry knowledge to check if costs are reasonable
? Understand & communicate to sales the reasons and factors that explain costing
? Generate formal quote sheet for sales
? Collaborate & coordinate with related departments to get necessary information & optimize proposals for quotation
? Adhere to quotation process and suggest potential improvements
