Job Descriptions:


1 Fabric inspections ensuring quality in areas such as dyeing, shade and color, color fastness, strength, durability, water and chemical resistance
2 Working closely with suppliers and corporate office
3 Working with suppliers on the development and selection of fabrics.
4 Ensure supplier is clear on all our standards, processes and procedures.
5 Draft and review product specifications and establish performance parameters
6 Analyze and prepare technical reports


Qualifications:


1 B.S. Degree in Engineering, Textiles or equivalent education
2 Knowledge of textile finishing and chemistry to include shade and color evaluation and inspect repellent technology as relates to clothing
3 Three yrs' experience in weaving, dyeing and knitting. One year experience in a fabric manufacturing environment is preferred
4 Ability to read and interpret product specifications and drawings
5 Detail oriented with strong written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
6 Proficiency of PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project
7 Able to handle special projects as directed by Managers
8 Able to travel frequently
