Responsibility

- Participate in new product development (product definition, concept and prototype development, verification & validation, design transfer)

- Work on design of thermodynamics, testing and manufacturing effort for new product development

- Provide documentation for CE, UL or other standard along with design

- Work with cross-functional team to ensure product design meets the requirement for manufacturing, cost, service, and regulation.

- Assist supply chain selection and production process (assembly and inspection) development

Requirement:

- Master Degree in Engineering of Thermodynamics or Engineering of Thermal Physics, with relevant work experience at least 4 years;

- Excellent experience in designing and developing heating, refrigerating or air-conditioning products for series production

- Exposure to various manufacturing processes and materials

- Hands-on experience and solid capability in:

a) CAD software (like Pro/E)

b) Comprehensive skill sets on theoretical, numerical and experimental analysis

c) In-depth technical knowledge in refrigeration systems with expansion devices like capillary tube, thermal expansion valves and electronic expansion valves

d) Acquaint with heating systems on devices like sensors, fans, heaters etc

e) Improvement and cost reduction of current products

f) Sustaining of the current products with heating and cooling systems in the manufacturing

g) Good knowledge of safety standard or regulatory process in product development

- Good English communication ability (verbal and written)

- Must be a team player

Prefer:

- Conceptual design experience, like design and development of heating or refrigeration systems for medical devices or life science product

- A positive attitude towards team working incl. intercultural competence with structured and systematic work method

- Good problem solving skill (root cause analysis, FMEA, etc.) and technical communication ability

Global collaboration experience in matrix organization
