Essential Requirement:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

- Minimal 5 years experience in software development

- Hands-on experience and solid capability in:

a) Object oriented design methodology and various programming languages, including C/C++

b) Software development life cycle (e.g. ISO 62304) and automated testing experience

c) Software development under Windows/ Linux/Qt environment

- Good English communication ability (verbal and written)

- Good problem solving skill (root cause analysis, FMEA, etc.) and technical communication ability

- Must be a team player

Desired Qualification:

- Master degree

- Experience in software platform, system architecture development

- Knowledge of firmware or embedded software development

- Experience with design for software reliability, and agile or lean software development

- Medical device or life science product development experience, especially experience with complex system development

- Global collaboration experience in matrix organization

As key member of the R&D team, he/she will:

- Participate in new product development (product definition, concept and prototype development, verification & validation, documentation, design transfer)

- Lead software design and testing effort for new product development

- Collaborate with global teams to drive synergies across common software platforms

- Build strong testing infrastructure and drive software reliability improvement.

- Work with cross-functional team to ensure product design meets the requirement for manufacturing, cost, service, and regulation.

- Assist manager in team and competence build-up
