Civil Engineer–KunShan

The Civil Engineerr's main duty is to ensure the quality of a project by monitoring the construction execution, build-in materials and used equipment. A civil engineer has to check quantity and quality of delivered materials, manage all involved contractors and suppliers, monitor the execution of construction and report particular variations to the project manager.



Responsibilities


Represent the client professionally throughout the project under the control of site overall Project Manager
Be in charge of one building complex
Coordinate with other construction managers who is responsible for other buildings in terms of construction interface, M&E installation etc.
Inspect and review constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
Direct and supervise contractors on site
Requirements


5+ years experience in Construction Management for building / construction industry
Fluent English, ability to independently communicate with foreign clients
Civil / Architecture / M&E Engineering degree from renowned universities
Familiarity with the local construction regulations and procedures
Good presentation & reporting skills, ability to provide presentations in English on day to day basis
Good management skills, ability to organise and structure reports and meetings effectively
Good interpersonal and team leading skills
Good business manners, work attitude and professional appearance

土建工程师的职责是通过现场施工过程中的施工方案监控、建筑材料及设备的控制确保整个项目的质量， 土建工程师需要审核和检查现场承包商的材料质量和量，监控施工过程并审核和汇报现场变更。汇报对象：现场项目经理


职责


代表业主方管理现场，向现场项目经理汇报
针对现场中与其负责建筑相关的施工界面、机电安装、材料进场进度等与现场其他施工经理协调沟通
检查并控制施工质量，确保施工程序符合建筑和安全标准及业主标准
协调现场业主发、监理方、承包方及设计方的工作，就现场中出现的问题，诸如：施工程序、索赔和施工质量问题能够与上述各方协调解决方案
对于承包商提出的索赔、变更及现场出现的损坏、事故、工期拖延等等进行调查及取证，确保变更流程的进行
指导现场承包商的工作
要求


5年以上在大型工业厂房施工现场管理经验
流利的英文/普通话，能够独立与外籍工程师进行交流
土木工程/工民建/结构专业大学毕业的优先
熟悉国内施工标准和施工方法
能够用英语编辑日报和月报
具有管理技巧，能够高效组织现场会议并及时提交会议纪要等文档
良好的团队领导能力和合作意识
富有工作热情及责任心
身体健康，能够承受高负荷的工作压力
