Territory Sales Manager - North
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans to achieve overall company sales, gross profit and inventory targets
- Track and report performance, achievements and develop action plans to close the gap in case of shortfalls; monitor inventory level and implement disposal and clearance programs
- Ensure constructive cooperation with customers and distribution partners through excellent account management; maximize customer PO fulfillment rate and deliver merchandise to customers on time to hit set launch dates in store
- Manage the regional distribution, territory penetration and channel development according to company strategy; frequently review account base and search for potential partners and business opportunities
- Work with Merchandising and Buyers to improve assortment selection and drive seasonal campaign support and on time shelf presentation
- Drive the regional Go-to-market process from a Sales perspective together with Regional Manager; work hand in hand with the regional functional leader in Product Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and Retail; Foster an effective and aligned Go-To-Market process (from Planning, Trade show, Purchase Order Management, Allocation, Credit Approval, Shipment until Product Launch)
- Be a role model for preparing and staging effective presentations in one to one and larger group situations
- Coach and develop the regional sales team in terms of planning, retail and account management excellence to elevate the competence level
- Responsible for Regional Sales Budget and Cost Center planning and management in collaboration with Regional Manager
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent (2 years of experience within sports industry can be considered as 1 year degree)
- 8 - 10 years of sales experience preferably in sporting good industry (or equivalent industries, e.g. Lifestyle, Fashion, Retail, etc)
- At least 4 years of managerial experience
- Extensive knowledge of sporting good industry (or Fashion, or Lifestyle) and franchise management
- Familiar with the competitive market in the dedicated region, customers and retail models
- Strong analytical, judgmental & influential skills
- High degree of self-motivation, strong commitment and strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Good command of computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Power point, Excel and Word)
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
