JOB DESCRIPTION - PRODUCT & PROMOTION MANAGER, HERTZ CHINA
A. Job title / Job code / Reporting to:
Promotion,& Product Development Manager, Hertz China. Reporting directly to Marketing Director, China.
B. Job purpose (mission or "raison d'être")
The key responsibilities and accountabilities for the incumbent are to:
Promotion - Corporate Promotions / Business Rental Promotions / Leisure Rental Promotions:
? Annual planning
? Detailed promotion mechanics and execution full development
? Monthly promotions tactics planning in conjunction with pricing manager
? Results tracking & improvement recommendation on a weekly basis
? Competition promotion tracking on a weekly basis
? Covering inbound/domestic/outbound
Product development:
? Marketing research - target customers, competition, and relevant industries - qualitatively and quantitatively in a smart way
? Concept development
? Pricing - co-working with pricing manager
? SOP development and Hertz functions' training
? Internal and external communications' development
? Test run & SOP optimization
? Launch executions
? Product after-launch performance tracking
? Product modifications if needed
Team management:
? Team members' training, coaching and performance management
? Talent development and retention
? Continuous team individual productivity improvement

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree .MBA degree will be a solid plus
Professional Experience:
At least 3 years in Marketing Field and two years working experience as a team leader within an MNC.
Knowledge:
? Knowledge of product and market promotion
? Knowledge of marketing activities like exhibitions, promotional programs & PR activities
? Company processes, including credit, sales, and operations.
? Computer software tools.
? The China approach to Sales & Marketing as well as International understanding
Skills:
? Effectively apply oral and written communication skills with English and Mandarin
? Negotiation skill
? People management
? Leadership capability
Competencies:
? Proactive
? Timely
? Creative
? Great art sense and copy writing (in bilingual)
? Collaborative
