Responsibilities:

1.Phase 0 / 1 : New suppliers / product introduction / selection
Evaluate and qualify new potential suppliers according to JCI supplier strategy (SASD); leads SIDP
Assess new potential suppliers from a manufacturing process point of view

2. Phase 2 to 5
Provides relevant information for supplier selection during sourcing board
Define specific quality items in SSOW
Provides inputs for GateWorkBook deliverables related to Supplier: PPHR, Appearance manual, Supplier Control plan, IMDS, DVP&R, Supplier Containment plan, Supplier part approval, Launch performance (0 RPPM due to Supplier/30 days)...
Ensures that suppliers feasibility feedback and recommendation are integrated
Manages the SAQPR, SPSO and Supplier PPAP on time with program timing and with the appropriate quality level
Provides part status information to the SDT

3. Phase 6 (Post SOP activity)
Monitor and improve supplier performance (SPPM, program ...)
Follow and support MQR activities
Manage Suppliers crisis with the plants
Assess suppliers in compliance with BOS requirement.
Contribute to suppliers 8D report relevancy and expected turn around time
Use the appropriate tools and audit standard (e.g. SPSO, SASD, PSMC...) depending on type of issue
Approves PPAP at the component level following a modification
Check during supplier's visit that SC/CC process is running
Provides activities and KPI's reporting

4. BOS and system implementation
Use and promote the Johnson Controls problem solving methods (8D Report, Problem Solving, KT...)

5. Economics
Support to recover non quality cost for suppliers responsibility
Support the plant to reduce at lowest level suppliers quarantine / suspicious stocks

6. Continuous improvement
Give training, guidance and support to JCI plant SQE / AQE and key suppliers.
Support implementation of Best Business Practices (in supplier's plant or JCI)

Requirements:

1. Education:
Degree is required or equivalent experience
Specific education and training in Quality disciplines including minimum ISO TS16949, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA, Control plans, DOE and SPC
Requirements may be waived based upon work experience

2. Working Experience:
Minimum 3 years in the Automotive Industry
Minimum 3 years in the considered Commodity
Requirements may be waived based upon work experience

3. Professional Knowledge:
Manufacturing process knowledge of the considered commodity
Knowledge of the AIAG Quality planning and Control Plan standard, FMEA´s, PPAP´s, Dimensional layouts, gage/fixture design and Performance/Material testing
Manufacturing Quality system experience.
ISO TS certified auditor training is a plus.
Requirements may be waived based upon work experience

4. Language:
Proficient in English, Chinese and German
