RESPONSIBILITIES

1 .It is the responsibility of the Test Engineer to ensure that the Test Technician and
Engineering Support Technician understand this Job Description and that he/she
performs all the duties defined in this document.

2 .It is the responsibility of the Test Technician and Engineering Support
Technician understands this Job Description, and carry out his/her assignments
accordingly.

3 .It shall be the responsibility of the Test Technician and Engineering Support
Technician to perform their function in accordance with the documented policies,
procedures, processes and visual aids or work instruction defined within Jabil
Shanghai.



JOB SUMMARY

1. The Test Support Technician builds, debugs, qualifies, maintains and repairs
testers, fixtures environmental changers and associated equipment.

2 .To support the production lines to ensure minimum downtime for all the test
equipment. Maintain the test equipment in the best condition through preventive
maintenance and calibration program.



PREREQUISITES

1. Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of working
experience in Test Engineering field in PCBA industry.

Design Services (DS)
Design Services offers comprehensive product development from basic printed circuit board layout to complex product designs. We work closely with Jabil Business Units, Workcells and customers to quickly progress concepts into volume production. In addition, we incorporate vital Design for Manufacturability (DFm) and Design for Testability (DFt) guidelines that reduce production costs and increase product quality.

Our Design capabilities include electrical engineering, software engineering, PCB layout, mechanical engineering, industrial design, tooling engineering, and quality assurance.

We currently maintain product competencies in networking, servers and storage, mobile and wireless products and consumer electronics.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT)
Advanced Manufacturing Technology provides customer and sales support, systematic training, equipment and process capability studies, implementation support and technology roadmaps for advanced manufacturing, test and failure analysis processes and emerging product technologies.

Global Test Services (GTS)
Global Test Services provides test development and support for all Jabil manufacturing facilities.
