The candidate should be experienced in continuous improvement projects, either six sigma or lean projects at a plant level. Chemical plant experience preferred but other manufacturing candidates are most welcome.

Responsibilities
1) Champion all aspects of the plant’s process.
2) Serves as a close resource for the Site Manager to implement vision.
3) Serves as a resource to all pillar leaders providing training, process development and supports pillar team initiatives.
4) Is a catalyst for change management and process improvement throughout the organization.
5) Develop and manage communication and recognition programs that build engagement, improve awareness and share the results of the process across the organization.
6) Supports employee teams, guiding them through the process of analyzing, trouble shooting, and developing solutions to create sustainable process improvement.
7) Coordinate and oversee training efforts that support the Process initiative.
8) Measure and track results of Process initiatives in order to demonstrate the overall organizational benefits of the effort.
9) Assist pillar owners in planning and executing the design, redesign, and improvement of their respective processes.
10) Coordinate efforts to audit the effectiveness of teams and assist them in continually improving their teamwork skills.
11) Coordinate efforts to institutionalize change management principles among plant management and supervisory employees.


Requirements
1) Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, Math, Science or related field.
2) 5-10 years of manufacturing experience in the areas of operations management and/or industrial engineering. Prefer to have 10+ years of operations leadership experience with broad knowledge of multiple functional areas (strategy, finance, systems, etc.).
