职位位于天津津南区八里台工业园
Key responsibilities:
Key Result Area Position Responsibilities
ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL Review project documents and raise technical queries related to the specification and drawings.
Review project documents and raise technical queries related to the project contract requirements.
Compile bill of quantities.
Develop cost effective engineering solutions for the project.
Ensure compliance to specification.
Participate in construction methodology strategies.
Provide engineering/technical advice to on-site Supervisors & other project staff involved in the execution of works.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS Compilation of Maintenance and Operating manuals.
Attend customer meetings where required.
OPERATIONAL / PROJECT SUPPORT
Assist with planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project.
Review drawings and confirm procurement requirements.
Manage allocated sub contractors and suppliers.
Manage project activities as directed by the Operations Manager/Estimating Manager/Project Manager.
QUALITY ASSURANCE Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, based on customer and ISO requirements.
Compile/Review/Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s).
Assemble and maintain project documents and quality records for the project, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Review completed tenders to ensure quality.
FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE Compile and submit variations to clients.
TENDER PROCESS AND SYSTEM Assist in developing templates to streamline tender preparation and improve submission quality.
Record tendering data and update the estimating system.
Develop contacts with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing information (eg applicable rates and industry norms) to use in estimating.
Handle inquiries, provide information and advise feedback to tendering and estimating.
TENDER COMPILIATION Assist with compiling major tenders and proposals on behalf of the Division.
Review tender documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the Estimating team.
Calculate costings for tenders and proposals - lump sum, schedule of rates etc.
Visit sites and liaise with clients to obtain information for tendering and estimating.
Develop the program or schedule to ensure timely completion of tenders and availability of resources.
PRE AWARD NEGOTATIONS Participate in pre-award negotiations, in consultation with the General Manager/Operations Manager/Estimating Manager.
TRANSITION TO OPERATIONS Ensure there is effective handover and transition to operations on successful award, including the management of client relationships, transfer of knowledge and information.
OTHER Assist with project administration if assigned to work on smaller projects eg cost control, document control. Undertake other tasks to support the projects.
Able to travel internationally.
The minimum requirements are:
? Qualifications in engineering (Electrical/Quantity Surveying)
? Experience in an electrical and instrumentation contracting environment and on site industry experience (eg. engineering and construction industry).
? Familiar with relevant local and international construction norms and industry standards.
? Able to work well with clients, main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.
? Written communication skills – able to prepare tender documents, proposals, executive reports
? Sound computer skills, able to use Word, Excel, estimating (WinEst) and scheduling (Primavera P6) software.
? Willing to work on a wide range of projects and tasks involving site visits and at times working irregular hours.
