    Mission –
    The role is about ensuring the continued strategic and tactical implementation of LCI in LEGO new facility in Jiaxing thus ensuring the application of in-house professional Lean competencies. The LCI Consultant is to work with the local consultant team and local leaders to achieve this.
    Until now the journey of LCI (LEGO Continuous Improvement) in Manufacturing has been one for the 4 manufacturing sites (Hungary, Mexico, Denmark, Czech Rep). The LCI journey now needs to start in the Jiaxing facility and quickly mature to enable Jiaxing to run in harmony with the other manufacturing sites and the rest of LEGO.
    LCI is one of the LEGO Group´s core capabilities and for this reason we need to ensure that the structure, processes, people and culture supporting the LCI is in place. The LCI-Leader Team has created a structure to best support the success of these desired goals.
    This position is a key part of this structure and will also be part of a global network of LCI consultants.
    
    Department focus areas
    The colleague will be expected to work full time on site across a range of departments. Also to cooperate with other international sites as required. He will be able to influence, coach and challenge the middle Leader Team in adopting and implementing LEGO Continuous Improvement. The main focus will be to implement Lean tools, processes, behaviors and mindset with the aim of building organization capabilities.
    He will use the standard LCI assessment to show clear status and future targets.Core accountabilities
    Responsibilities
    1. Manage the LCI department on a daily basis.
    2. Challenge, coach and support the local managers to improve overall LCI capability.
    3. Contribute in the overall global LCI community.
    4. Create, implement and continuously use global standards, feedback with improvement points.
    Primary goals
    1. Continually improve the plant LCI assessment results.
    2. Develop and improve the managers LCI knowledge base.
    3. Focus on “Improvement” results based on clear standards (Kaizen).
    4. Create the environment of continuous improvement by making sure employees are working safely and service is being provided in the best quality, on time and at a reasonable price. This to be achieved by identifying and eliminating waste. requirement： ? Minimum 2 years of lean implementation experience.
    ? Firsthand experience of the Lean tools and mindset.
    ? Hands on experience in transitioning from traditional processes to Lean processes.
    ? Experience of working with Management to secure mandate and support for Lean introduction.
    ? Experience as an internal or external consultant/coach would be an advantage.
    ? This is not a position for academics or advisors.
    Good basic school education. Further education or relevant studies would be an advantage.
