Role Summary/Purpose

GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.Be responsible for technology transfer from design to manufacturing, to support local project and products launch (high/low voltage converter) in China facility.

Essential Responsibilities

• Do electrical detail design for MV/LV converter • Manage and draw circuit diagram for MV/LV converter • Work together with Mechanical, power electronic and ERP/MRP engineer to accomplish new converter development or improvement • Support manufacturing to complete converter assembly in workshop • Update and develop technical document including circuit diagram, specification, wiring etc • Release electrical bill of material (BOM) for MV/LV converter • Make wiring document (cable list) according to circuit diagram • Technical support for electrical component localization • To accomplish the other duties assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related education background• Minimum 5 years of working experience in maintenance/manufacturing or relative area• Good knowledge and understanding in electrical, control, and automation design for equipment• Skillful in E-plan software and MS office • Fluent English both in writing & speaking, and good communication skill

Desired Characteristics

• Good knowledge of high voltage and low voltage components, such as circuit breaker, magnetic contact, transformer, reactor, motor etc.• Aware of GB standard related to switch gear, cable, converter and test• Familiar with automation and PLC, be capable of designing and modifying control circuit diagram, with converter industrialization experience would be preferable• Good team work spirit• Excellent in execution
