About the client
Our client is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise headquartered in Europe, providing engineering tools and services with a global presence. An opportunity has arisen for Procurement Manager, base in Shanghai.

About the role
Procurement Manger
Report to: General Manager & Global Purchasing Director
Subordinate: 8

As the Procurement Manager, you will be the interface and will work closely with the HQ purchasing team. You will participate to the purchasing strategy and process and in charge of developing the best cost efficient supplier base according to the global procurement strategy and meet the global standardized criteria.
? Identify opportunities for Strategic Sourcing excellence and cost savings in all areas of total cost
? Initiate and optimize the supplier pool based on the global standards
? Lead the local sourcing team to support the global sourcing activities
? Continuously improve the Quality standard for the local Supplier Quality Assurance
? Cooperate with supply chain/logistic group and assist in logistic optimization
? Review and negotiate supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions
? Proactively plan for and drive capacity execution to ensure suppliers meet rapid capacity expansion for product growth objectives
? Work with across functional team to manage supply contracts, delivery and quality, ensuring the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L level and ensuring on time delivery with the suppliers
? Achieve agreed savings and process improvement targets

Qualifications & skills required
? Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering, Automation, Supply Chain or equivalent
? 7+ years of working experience in Automation industry
? Strong managerial skills and excellent communication skills to work across all functions and levels of an organization
? Good understanding of cost drivers for the components and financial procedures
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software
? Proficient in English, both spoken and written
