We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

The Head of ITID is responsible for managing a strategic plan, implementation project, maximize service availability and disruption-free processing that aims to support the SSO (Shared Service Organisation) professional services which are critical to day to day business operations for HSBC China business. The job holder should work with other IT areas or business groups to deliver required service, manage growth, improve ITID efficiency and effectiveness, identify and allocate resources and manage performance across the different groups in the area. The job holder establishes present and future ITID model that will best meet business requirement by playing leadership role to define policy, standardize process, analyze and make specific recommendations in areas such as technology platform selection, sourcing, commercial strategies and cost and pricing issues. He/She is also required to manage a group of geographically disparate multi-disciplined teams working on solutions to deliver network, operational and technical services.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Lead local ITID teams to establish first class quality of service through best practice and enhanced regional technology standard in delivering the expected levels of functionality and quality to business while complying with audit and regulatory requirement
· Control the security aspects of IT systems by providing secure computer system, data and network at all times
· Manage the supply chain and outsourced service provider to ensure delivery of service within SLA and in an cost effective manner
· Analyze customers’ requirement and develop technological solutions to support new business initiatives and support flagship projects
· Ensure upkeep of IT standards and adherence to Group strategy and policies
· Contributes to ITID staff development and performance excellence
· Support coordination of ITID technology advancement for all staff
· Lead ITID team to adopt best practice and standard from Group/Regional office
· Maximize system availability and ensure the best service quality provision
· Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (SOX, FIM, GSM, circulars) and external regulatory requirements
· Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy.
· Maintain awareness of operational risk including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control.
Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Strong knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure with at least 15 years of relevant working experience
Demonstrated Banking industry knowledge, in terms of regulation, competitor and market
Ability to understand and implement global strategies while collaborating with other Global Business to deliver successfully
Strong leadership and management ability within a complex matrix environment
Demonstrated ability of managing and coordinating a dispersed team
Strong sense of risk management with solution to mitigate operational risks
Financial and accounting acumen
Rich experience in project management
