This role is 1 year contractor
Job Descriptions:
? Assist to carry out routine and non-routine sample analysis within individual’s work area with minimum supervision by Lab Chemist or Lab Shift Lead to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory.
o Be proficient in making detailed calculations with a complete understanding of the mathematical equations involved to ensure correct analytical results are produced.
o Understand the basic operation of the laboratory instrument.
o Competent to interpret analytical data for accuracy to ensure reliable analytical support to plant Operations.
? Must be safety conscious, be aware of potential hazards when handling chemicals and be able to maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area so as to achieve zero recordable incidents for the laboratory.
? Strictly follows plant HSE regulations and practices in his working area.
o Receives safety training.
o Keeps working area clean and neat.
o Reports any unsafe conditions and potential environmental protection problem.
? Expected to undertake appropriate emergency response duties.

Required Candidate:
? Educational background
o College diploma or above in chemistry field.
? Experience
o Able to operate Lab analytical instruments (such as Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography … etc.) will be an advantage.
o Safety knowledge will be an advantage.
? Others
o Be acceptable to work under a shift scheme model;
o Good knowledge, skill and experience on analysis.
o Good ability and potential to learn new knowledge and skill.
o Good teamwork and communication skill; strong sense of accountability;
