The candidate should be experienced with chemical factory process engineering roles and duties.

Responsibilities:
Ensures process control and implement improvements in the operations processes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, analyzing problems and data, maintaining interplant communications, training operators, and establishing and improving production practices and procedures utilizing a team approach and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Performs other duties as required to promote overall plant effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

? Investigate and analyze production problems and bottlenecks concerning throughput and processing issues. (20%)
? Work with equipment, supplies and manufacturing technology regarding equipment or process changes and continuous process and quality improvement. (20%)
? Work on improvement activities related to manufacturing, efficiency and film quality issues. (10%)
? Work with customer and QA to develop product specifications. (10%)
? Work with operator teams in establishing practices and problem solving. (10%)
? Analyze production and process data. (10%)
? Develop and train Senior Production Technician and provide training to operators. (20%)
? Meets or exceeds customer expectations.
? Minimize customer complaints.
? Successful completion of improvement programs/projects.
? Able to use data to make logical decisions.
? Able to correct and improve processes.
? Able to train and lead employees.

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree or master degree in Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering.
? At least 5 years related working experience in plastic film industry.
? Good command of written and spoken English.
? Good SPC and statistics.
? Process knowledge and process improvements skills.
? Good troubleshooter.
