Responsibilities
Maintain and manage the key milestones associated with the annual Commodity and Component negotiation calendar.
Work with QA to develop a process to ensure testing and required certificates are in order.
Work with Vendor Operations team to ensure preferred supplier volume requirements are being met.
Effective[ y communicate and negotiate pricing on beha[ f of K2.
Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability and pricing.
Develop and implement purchasint; and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures .
Participate with PD in the development of specifications for products or substitute materials,
Prepare reports regard ing market conditions and trends.
Review, evaluate, and approve specificatiorls for issuing RFQ's and awarding bids.
Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and determine product availability, pricing and terms of sales.
Assist in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Work with p[ anning to identify volume commitments.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree University in Purchasing, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 5 years working experience in related field with at least 3 years at managerial level .
Strong understanding of total product cost including material cost, transportation,
warehousing, tariffs & duties, and related overhead.
Solid experience in production planning, material control, warehouse, logistic and loca]
customs management and Strong leadership with good communication and negotiation skills.
