Responsibilities:
- To build and maintain the communication channels between DDC and related government departments and officials in FengXian and Shanghai
- To establish and maintain business-oriented government relations.
- To participate China Associations to get various channels to lobby government, and participate in external official meetings in order to lobby for the industrial policies and standards to favor DDC interest.
- To monitor the development of related government policies and agriculture subsidy policies, and to identify specific initiatives that pose opportunities or threats to company’s interests.
- To coordinate and facility the meetings/visits between company’s management team and government officials.
- Trouble-shooter role: crisis management in the event of regulatory/ environment/ sales issues
- Develop Government Affairs Action Plan in Fengxian and Shanghai to deliver required performance according to set objectives and company values/competencies.
- To support and manage all administrative applications and approvals of Shanghai plant expansion projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in the roles of government affairs, PR and corporate communications, with a thorough understanding of the food industry in China
- Experience in dealing with officials in the Central Government and local government.
- At least 3-5 years' experience working in a similar capacity in the government affairs function with a record of achievements in large-scale manufacturing/ retail company.
- Mature, rational, pleasant and positive personality.
- Good communication skill, good interpersonal skill, smart response and objective judgment to different kinds of situation.
- Experience in project management would be a plus.
