Mission Statement:
The newly merged HOERBIGER business unit Hydraulics offers various performance-defining products in hydraulics for a range of niche markets, including the very important press-brake market. Against the backdrop of a soft economy, this business unit faces the challenge over the next three years of having to increase its market share in China in order to fulfill sales growth targets. To achieve this, Sales Engineering must foster relationships with current clients and attract new customers by demonstrating the unique sales proposition of CNC press-brake machines, providing good service and engaging in effective communication.

Goals:
The Sales Engineer will develop an outstanding sales strategy and implement it in Wuxi in order to gain more customers, increase market share and achieve excellent payment results. He or she will demonstrate to customers the added value of CNC press-brake machines as well as increase sales volume and gross margin. The person in this position will also continue to improve Wuxi employee engagement through the V4E initiative.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Accomplish sales tasks and achieve sales targets established by company;
2. Introduce and promote products to customers, exploit new customer and develop market continuously, do his or her best to get sales orders;
3. Visit customer designedly and efficiently, push payment withdrawal, cooperate with company in marketing exploitation and project development, deal with customer complaints and product troubles;
4. Make quotation and stipulate delivery & payment terms on request of company; Comply with relevant rules of company while making contracts; Ask for instruction or consultation in time while having problems in technique, price, business and contract or beyond the limit of power;
5. Improve oneself and learn a lesson continuously at product knowledge, sales skills and business affairs;
6. Make positive reaction for customer complaints and product troubles as soon as possible, meanwhile report to superior and cooperate with technical support to deal with complaints or troubles;
7. Communicate with customer politely and technically, anything harmful to company’s benefits is forbidden;
8. Be honest to company, report what happens while visiting customer and declare all expenses according to facts;
9. Consciously complied with all management rules and regulations;
10. Accomplish other tasks assigned by superior.

Technical or functional knowledge:
1. Bachelor degree of mechanics or fluidics;
2. Familiar with hydraulic products, with related sales experience;
3. Good skills of commercial negotiation, interpersonal relationship and communication;
4. Good command of English is preferred;
5. Proficient operation of office software.

Experience and Essential Requirements:
1. Over 5 years working experience in Hydraulic area;
2. Creative thinking and willingness to face any changings;
3. Good team player and strategic thinking for process technology development;
4. Can communicate with each level well;
5. knows very well about the missions and targets (KPI...), and can track these all the time to prevent big deviations;
6. Adapt to frequent travel for visiting customers and trade shows;
7. Press-brake machine tools manufacturing field experience is preferred.
