Operation Manager-for a global Printing/Packaging/Paper Company
Our client is one of fortune 500 companies which is the leader of printing, packaging, paper industry. Now they are looking for an Operation Manager to lead around 500-800 employees to take care of all the factory management.
Responsibilities:
? Supervise the implementation and maintenance of all safety, health and environmental procedures in accordance with plant and company policies and guidelines;
? Guide to develop, implement, and maintain the equipment and tools maintenance / management system;
? Maintains an effective organization through the selection, development and motivation of all personnel;
? Develop management talents necessary to achieve short and long range objectives by effective direction, coaching and training according to an overall manpower planning;
? Ensure compliance with plant employee relationships policies and guidelines;
? Cooperate with IE department and Drive Lean-Sigma manufacturing, manages and executes various programs that lead to improvements in quality, costs and overall efficiency in order to achieve world class manufacturing;
? Cooperate with QA department to implement and maintain the quality/ ISO9000 system. Recommend corrective actions for all CCR/NMR cases and ensure the corrective action could implemented effectively;
? Prepare and controls departmental budget;
? Compile reports to the Plant Manager in a regular basis;
? Ensure all employees participate company-organized training on ISO9001, FSC and EHS, and follow related procedures & WI.
Qualification:
? Bachelor degree or above
? At least 7 years manufacturing experience, at least 5 years supervisory experience ( printing related experience is preferred);
? Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
? Competency:
? Demonstrate leadership behaviors supporting company's values;
? Strong interpersonal & Communication skills;
? Ability to manage labor intensive manufacturing operations plus the knowledge in mechanical or electronics;
? Familiar with lean knowledge and production layout planning;
? Set stretch goals, self-motivated, and measure right thing to ensure success and meet objectives;
? Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams & effectively lead to significant results;
? Demonstrate process troubleshooting skills;
? Customer focused, quick response and creative solutions
