(1)工作职责Responsibility
As a Senior Fixtures and Automation Engineer, you are responsible to manage Fixtures and Automation process technology evaluation, selection and integration activities. You have open minded and pioneering attitude to participate in critical and technically challenging tasks, and possess a proactive self-dependent working style in dealing with different interfaces, plus, have the ability to work under tight deadlines, and more importantly, the passion to deliver beautiful products and concepts.

Main Responsibility Areas:

- New technology development, product conception & the actual realization.
- Responsible for component development and the product creation process from the first idea to mass production to sustaining of production.
- Evaluate, Integrate, verify and optimize fixture and automation solutions to be reliable, cost competitive, mass production capable & achievable performance.
- Collaborate with internal HW, SW, Mechanical, and ID designers, & co-operation with external vendors for planning and specifying product in technical level, including component selection.
- Engages design teams, procurement team, operations team and suppliers to ensure the design and manufacturing strategy meets Dell’s requirement of product leadership for the given technology area or product line.
- Provide leadership in building up supply chain capabilities and timely resolution of manufacturing process issues.
- Offering expert advice in design details to peers.
- Connecting with your peers within different project stakeholders.
- Production support at factory.

(2)职位要求Qualification：
- 10+ years or equivalent experience in Manufacturing industry with heavy deployment of Fixture and Automation solutions.
- Good knowledge of automation fixtures/”robots” technologies being deployed in manufacturing (laser measurement, CCD alignment, isolation chambers, robotic arms, servo motors……etc)
- Good DFM knowledge and able to deploy fixtures to enable manufacturing process consistency
- Perform strategic Analysis (knowing when and what combination of technology to employ for quality and business needs)
- Strong Project Management experience.
- Have broad expertise with means of high-volume manufacturing and test methods.
- Have successfully managed suppliers and factories through the specification of requirements, development of DFMEA, planning and execution of full validation, and to stable production.
- Have experience with environmental constraints (temp, humidity, and vibration), regulatory compliance and product debug.
- Be skilled driving team-members from multiple disciplines to reach fact-based decisions.
- Be able to work closely with Software, testing and manufacturing teams.
- Team players with good cross-functional competencies.
- Coach and mentor entry level engineers.
- Lead Design reviews and product reviews.
- University degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.
