(1)工作职责Responsibility
The responsibilities for this position include working in a sustaining engineering and support organization responsible for the technical support of factory software that downloads software on client systems being built. This includes: software support, factory support, factory escalation processes, root cause failure analysis, development team support, software test support, software modifications as needed to correct or update code, and strong ownership of factory customers. Collect issue category data and drive back to issue owner not only to solve the issue, but also improve process gaps/test coverage. Additional duties include working with external suppliers, cross-functional teams, and I/T. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may result in factory downtime and lost revenue.

Extensive problem solving and analysis skills. Excellent attention to details. Action oriented driving for quick and accurate results. Strong ownership of issues and deliverables. Strong communication skills, verbal and written; not afraid to speak up and communicate in difficult situations. Strong teamwork skills. Good understanding of hardware and software interactions. Ability to multitask on several issues and deliverables. Working ability to easily achieve mastery of new tools, programming languages, and operating systems. Basic insight and skills to effectively manage cultural differences. Strong grasp on the inter-workings of Microsoft Operating Systems (both client and server), Novell Netware, and Linux. Good understanding of client, network, and server interactions. Good understanding of VLANs, DNS, DHCP, & Access Control List (both at server level and network level). Ability to assemble simple to highly complex hardware configurations including SCSI and Fiber Channel. Ability to learn on the fly with little or no support. Dedication to good software development practices.
EDUCATION: Preferred: BSCS, BSCE, or BSEE. EXPERIENCE: > 3 years
