AUTOMOTIVE PROJECT MANAGER - IDIADA CHINA

Education

Preferably, Mechanical Engineering Degree, with a specialization in automotive engineering.

Age

Between 28 and 36 years old. Not mandatory

Languages skills

Very advanced in English and Native in Chinese (Mandarin).

Mission

Candidate will be responsible to achieve the client project goals. The main activities will be:

· Project organization (planning technical activities and project control) and logistics management

· Project communications (interface between customer and technical leaders) and project reporting (project status reports,technical reports) and co-ordination of the project team (tasks organisation, control, and supervision of the correct development of the technical activities -from different technical domains- required by the customer)

· Risk control and budget follow-up

· Support to the KAMs (Sales Engineers) to better understand RFQ's from the client and to give an efficient answer to them.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the automotive sector (OEM, automotive engineering service company or in a Tier 1 supplier).

· Previous experience in vehicle testing, engineering or homologation.

· Experience in vehicle functionalities development (such as passive safety, NVH, Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics) or in CAD design or CAE engineering is an asset.

· Good technical understanding of vehicle parts and its functionalities and with good technical understanding of a complete vehicle development process (from concept to SOP). A good all-around automobile knowledge is a must, not in depth but sufficient to recognise the customers requirements and concerns.

· MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with MS Project is very helpful.

· Must be able to motivate fellow project colleagues and to organise and to delegate tasks.

· With very good communication skills, able to engage customers and colleagues through technical arguments.

· Proactive approach, with initiative.

· Willing to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.

· Willing to travel around China and at international scale if required.
