POSITION / TITLE:

· Title : Customer Service & Quality Liaison Engineer

No. of supervised employees : 0 (can evolve to 5+)

· Department / Service : Engineering / After-Sales

· Will report to General Manager China and Engineering / After-Sales Department at HQ

· Place of Work: Tianjin Free Trade Economic Zone; regular travels to OEMs all around in China – occasionally to Headquarters in France

· Annual gross Salary: for 3 – 5 years professional experience/ with future management role and for 5 – 10 years professional experience

ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

In coordination with PUNCH Powerglide’s headquarters in France and customers (assuring the interface to Chinese OEM), is in charge to plan and define

- Service strategy and service parts

- Warranty decisions

- Repair procedures

- Mechanical service tools

- Diagnostic Service matrix

- Trouble shooting

- Training support

· Train the trainers

· Support vehicle assembly plants

- Diagnose transmission in case of problem and repair if possible

- Provide regular report regarding plants situation

- End of line testing at manufacturer

· Support dealers and field

- Help diagnose transmissions and provide necessary support to dealers

- Perform mobile service

- Perform investigations on transmissions exchanged in the field

- Provide regular reporting regarding field situation – feed problem data base of customers

Training will be provided in Strasbourg, then support from Strasbourg

Optional: Technical support for sales activities in China

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Licence (Bachelor) in Mechanical area, University level

Fluent Chinese and English (or French)

Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic architecture, experience with diagnostic tools (OBD) and
G&D methodology (problem solving), solid mechanical understanding of drivetrain

PUNCH Powerglide Tianjin (Technology) Co., Ltd. will support sales and particularly all after-sales operations towards the increasing number of Chinese OEM customers.

We are therefore recruiting an after-sales team of experienced engineers who will work in close contact with the OEMs allover China as well as the headquarters in France. A training period in France is planned as part of the integration.
