Department Description
The Motorola Solutions China Operations Government Relations Organization is responsible for maintain and develop a healthy relationship with China governments to support the overall China standard and Business Development.
This position will report to the Director of Global Government Affairs China
The job will include the following areas:
?Cooperate with Country Management and other departments to execute company's government relations agenda, including regulatory and product standards tasks.
?Proactively ensure business is in compliance with regulatory requirements and standards impacting products sold in China.
?Track, influence or facilitate contribution to China's standardization activities that have potential impact to our business.
?Analyze and interpret new or altered standards/regulations impacting the product portfolio of the business.
?Communicate and work with the relevant internal functions and liaise with external agencies to ensure that we can strategically align our products to regulatory requirements in China.
?Contacts with industry associations and arranging participation in relevant events
?Analyzes and interprets information on legislative and regulatory issues and changes.
?Expedites action on issues requiring governmental approval.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
?The individual should be a experienced professional with good technical background, good understanding of the regulatory and standardization process in China and a demonstrated ability to resolve problems in the standard and regulatory area.
?The candidate should be effective in both external work with regulators and in the internal collaboration with multiple teams in Motorola Solutions working in different functions.
?Bachelor degree is the minimum. The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or other work-related disciplines with 3 or more years of directly related experience.
?Be able to run day-to-day work by receiving little instruction and can do new assignments with general instructions.
?Basic interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skill.
?Self starter, results oriented and first rate communication and presentation skills.
