Tasks Description
?Follow external market developments by active involvement in relevant
industry networks and by participating in compensation surveys &
benchmarking studies (e.g. by Mercer, Hewitt)
?Develop and implement a country specific compensation approach based on
the global compensation philosophy, including communication concept
?Develop and implement local compensation policies, processes and
practice (e.g. salary bands, policies on promotion, merit increase,
starting salary etc.)based on market practice/development, benchmark
results and business needs. Follow-up of legal context, coordination and
communication.
?Govern and coordinate compensation processes with country HR
organization (e.g. HR//direct and HR//BP), incl. preparation of
statistics, reports and local communication
?Manage projects, e.g. regarding compensation and benefit change and
optimization, M&A
?Single point of contact for HR//CoE Compensation
?Advise Country HR organization and respective subgroup/service company i
n all questions related to compensation and benefit
University degree or above.
? 8-10 years of progressive HR experience in an international MNC
setting, and at least 4-5 years experience in Compensation and Benefits.
Prior experience as a HR Business Partner would be an added advantage.
? Strong knowledge of China legislation & trends in the area of
compensation and benefits
? Understands compensation & benefits in the broader context of an
organization
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerPoints and other IT applications
? Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, team player
? English language fluency (spoken and written) coupled with Chinese
language proficiency. Able to communicate effectively at different
organization levels.
? Multi tasking ability, drive for results and project management skills
? Learning agile, open to new ideas, challenges the status quo
? Role model for the Bayer LIFE Values (Leadership, Integrity,
Flexibility and Efficiency)
